Steam Name: Hazard

What is the reason for your warn: FailRP | Suicide with RPG

Name of the staff member who warned you: John

Why do I believe that I should be unwarned: I think i should be unwarned cause my intention was to kill the enemy(John) who was chasing me so he would either die or fly somewhere from the blast, didnt think about killing my self at all since i know its failrp and there is no point in doing that, no benefit from suiciding.

Evidence: i didnt get video of the rpg suicide, but if the video gets sent in the comments then you can see me running away from enemy since i was getting shot and no one could help me so i took my rpg and tried to shoot behind him but since my screen was red with so much fire going onto me and couldnt see alot i shot into his face instead or underneath my self and killed my self by accident.

I saw you shooting him then get to low hp and then proceed to kill yourself with the intention of causing as much damage as possible with the last little bit of health you had left. Classic 212th Suicide

I have witnessed 212th, more specifically you so many times just intentionally just RPGing. Its about time something was done about it. The rest of 212th should use this as in incentive that they are being watched and shouldn't do this. There are even rules against how many ECs you can use RPGs against and you weren't following it.

I've seen 212th members do this too many times to count, from throwing grenades at their feet in hopes of killing the ec's around them, a member running up to me(EC) mid 1v1 to place Remote dets on me and the ground to then blow me up along with another clone, to being point blank shot in the face with a rocket when i'm the only EC even remotely near him.

From the clip ive seen it's justified and you should think before you decided to use a rocket launcher at close range.

The clip is linked below. In this clip, you can see me engaging you in a 1v1 fight. When I engage you, you begin to retreat due to the combat superiority I have with my health and my Z-6. As you retreat, you take a lot of fire from me and you get quite low on health so instead of just me killing you and me suriving the engagement fine, you suicide; you killed yourself with your RPG before I could kill you. 212th aren't a suicide squad.

There is a lot of benefit from suiciding with explosives. When you kill yourself when low on health with the RPG, you massively damage those around you and as such, you've put more value to that life you died in, damaging more hostiles before you died which is a positive for the clones on the battlefield.

It is like Silent said, an attempt to cause as much damage as you can before you die. However, you are still committing suicide. It is FailRP and as such, extremely unrealistic. Even if it was accidental, you shouldn't have used that RPG on the one EC that was engaging you. I believe there are rules against RPG engagement on singular hostiles, are there not?

There have been countless reports that I've heard of 212th suiciding or performing extremely risky maneuvers, which they survive by stroke of luck, with explosives but I have not seen these myself in game. That is why I pulled you almost instantly, after the fight. I hadn't expected it to come from the EXO himself.

I have consulted with various other staff members and all who have seen it believe it to be a warrant and just warn.

This is the clip in question.

From the clip I dont know how you thought you would survive, you were on im guessing 100-150 hp and you pretty much rpged at your feet

As i said intention was to shoot behind him not my self or close to my self, and yes there are rules of engaging hostile with rpg but ive seen multiple people shoot 1 EC to either kill him or get away from him, and i dont see point comparing other 212th to me because i dont controll their actions.

The blast radius is formidable, you should know this

"Because CTs steal AT-TEs, that must mean I can do it too as a CE", essentially what you're saying.

If others do it, it doesn't mean you are meant to do it too and use that "others do it so I can" as an excuse.

You are the 212th EXO, it is quite literally your job as part of the 212th regimental command to make sure your 212th are respecting the rules of the 212th equipment usage alongside that you are meant to control your troops.

As an Executive Officer, you should be setting a positive example for the rest of your regiment. I believe you advise your regiment not to fire a rocket on one hostile. I don't believe your warn should be taken away.

Additionally, if I dropped my DU Shield on someone's head, and then an Enlisted Trooper does the exact same thing, I wouldn't be very surprised. So, I do see a point in comparing other 212th members to you.

Hazard is someone, who has always contributed in 212th on the behavior of the members. He was strict on them not being minges and he wanted everyone to behave. And he was able to do it in a friendly way. And when I am saying, that he wanted members to behave, I want to add, that he behaved twice that. And the only thing that represents that is a clean shield. With that I mean being without warns and arrests. And I do not see any reason for having that taken away from him. I was a 212th for a long time. And I know this situation. Sounds are ear raping you, you have a red screen, you don't know how many enemies are firing at you and before dying, you want to kill at least someone. You take out an explosive and try to assure yourself, that it is by the rules. All looks fine, so you try to blast him away. But it is not too close. The blast area changes by it's own mood all the time, you get closer, further, you are in a stressful situation.... BOOM.... You killed yourself. Everyone was here.

TL;DR:
I see a nice guy who always behaves good getting warned for a shitty reason, when he doesn't deserve it. Nothing more or less.

lad it isn't a shitty reason for a warn. If you're GC and an enemy is behind you, you don't just keep on sniping him. Same goes here. You can see in the video that he just scrolls to rpg and blows him up anyways (When he should know the rules for rpging). Just because he was "good" in the past doesn't make him invalid for any harsh doings.

Not the first case. Actually kind of starting to get sick by it so maybe a warn will clear it up.

If someone accidentally breaks a rule, the warn stands. And I honestly don't believe it was accidental as I have seen you and other high ranking 212th do the same suicide tactics. Explosives are meant to be tactically used, not primary weapons.

This doesn't mean that he can't get warned? You don't become invincible to warns if you are strict in your regiment.

Uh, how does he not deserve it? Why is the warn a shitty reason? It's perfectly valid and there's proof. It's literally just a single warn. The spectacle you guys have created out of it by making a whole un-warn request has blown it up, get over it.

this thing will get denied either way now, but its funny how RC member is saying he is sick of suicides and shit and then i see RC kill them selfs or shoot single EC's, kill friendlys and deny all of that cause they are Elite.

some of you probably -1 this cause you just tired of 212th doing dumb shit but ive seen people do similar stuff or even worse(like MRDM in bunks or some other killing) and because they are know on the server staff just ignores it.

making this statement will probably make my rep even shittier/lower if i even had on to begin with. just stop commenting here at this point because its just shit show, but it is your choice to believe me or not but my intentions were never to fuck my self with rpg at that time even tho it looks like it was intentional but i know what i was doing and it just turned out not as i expected.

But i hope whoever will review this request to think about decisions himself and not dependant on the -1's and take his own decision instead of communities unless thats how every unban/unwarn decision is made.

Denied.

It's a valid warn in my eyes. You shot your RPG at close range, something you as an EXO should know shouldn't be done. As for other people doing the same thing, contact staff or SMT if needed. Complaining about others in your unwarn request thread doesn't really excuse your beheaviour nor solve anything.
