You must only engage in combat when there is a valid roleplay reason to do so. Valid roleplay reasons may include but are not limited to: Events, Trainings, Preventing Crime, Ongoing Raids, Valid IC Orders. 1.1.2 - Criminals or Civilians are prohibited from randomly engaging with Imperial forces without a proper valid roleplay reason. Valid roleplay reasons may include but are not limited to: Raiding Imperial Bases, Self Defense, Assisting in-combat Allies. 1.1.3 - Criminals or Civilians are prohibited from randomly engaging with other Criminals or Civilians without a proper valid roleplay reason. Valid roleplay reasons may include but are not limited to: Raiding Player Bases, Self Defense, Assisting in-combat Allies. Using the smallest of justifications for killing someone is still considered RDM, so for example someone insulting you in character is not justification to just kill them and anyone found to be using these small provocations to kill will still be committing RDM. 1.1.4 - The previous three rules also apply to attempting to kill somebody, even if you were unsuccessful, without a valid reason. It covers combat using weapons, prop killing, vehicles. 1.2 - Random Handcuff (RDA) 1.2.1 - Restraints are to be used only with a valid roleplay reason. A player is prohibited from randomly placing other players in handcuffs. Valid roleplay reasons may include but are not limited to: IC Punishments, Medical Situations, Kidnapping. 1.2.2 - Handcuffs (Brig) should only be used when placing a player in the Brig. They are not to be used randomly around the base in any capacity. 1.3 - FailRP 1.3.1 - Use common sense at all times and only perform actions which would make sense in roleplay. Not all FailRP situations can be noted down, so it is to staff discretion on what is deemed FailRP in unlisted situations. 1.3.2 - Common FailRP situations 1.4 - FearRP 1.4.1 - You cannot act in a way which threatens one’s life (HP) without relevant RP gain. Not all FearRP can be noted down, so it is to staff discretion on what is deemed FearRP in unlisted situations. 1.4.2 - Common FearRP situations 1.4.3 - If a blaster is pointed at you, you must obey the person’s commands. 1.4.4 - If a lightsaber user is ignited in close proximity, you must obey the person’s commands. 1.4.5 - If you are placed in a slave collar, you must obey the controller’s commands. 1.4.6 - You may only place somebody under FearRP if they are unarmed, their weapon is on safety or you have a superior force (2 gunpointers / person) within voice range. 1.4.7 - A Sith’s lightsaber is deemed on safety if unignited, at which point they can be put under FearRP (requires 2 gunpointers / Sith). 1.4.8 - You cannot equip or unsafety your weapon if you are under FearRP. 1.4.9 - When a person has a rifle on safety, you cannot gunpoint them unless you are behind them., If they have a pistol on safety equipped, they can be gunpointed. 1.4.10 - Droids are immune to FearRP. 1.4.11 - You can only gunpoint a person in a completely halted vehicle where the victim is visible either through glass (e.g. parked Dropship) or in the open (e.g. parked Speeder). (The front) 1.5 - Metagaming 1.5.1 - You cannot act on IC information which you have attained through OOC means to get a RP advantage. 1.5.2 - Spreading IC information through OOC is also prohibited, and is seen as instigating metagaming. 1.5.3 - Voice communication methods such as Discord or Teamspeak are counted as OOC unless given specific permission by SMT 1.5.4 - Seeing someone's name about their head doesn't mean you know the individuals names. This is also the same for comms. 1.6 - New Life Rule 1.6.1 - If you die (outside of an event), you forget everything learned in the previous life. If you return to the location you died with the intention of using information about your death / learned prior to dying, you will be punished for breaking NLR. 1.6.2 - Once you have died in a raid, you cannot relay ANY information about the raid to your party. 1.7 - Erotic Roleplay 1.7.1 - You cannot perform Erotic RP in any form on the server, and doing so will result in a severe ban. 1.8 - LTA(R)P 1.8.1 - You cannot use get-arounds to avoid punishment for either IC or OOC. Logging off instantly after this could also result in punishment unless you tell staff you have to leave beforehand. 1.9 - /roll Roleplay 1.9.1 - You can partake in /me and /roll roleplay, if both parties involved agree to the passive roleplay. This can be used in roleplay to determine the outcome of certain situations (e.g. medical treatment) but not for /me combat. 1.10 - Weaponry Rules 1.10.1 - Under the Empire, blaster ownership is restricted to Imperial sanctioned forces. Non-Imperial forces which are spotted with weaponry above the classification of a pistol are deemed Criminal to the Empire, and will be a target for arrest. 1.10.2 - Intentionally causing a situation by running up to Imperials with a weapon to instigate combat is against the Rules, and will result in a punishment for FailRP (Combat Baiting). 1.11 - Spawn Rules 1.11.1 - The space port will be the only designated spawn for all jobs (excluding anyone who owns their own apartment) 1.11.2 - The space port will be treated as an OOC area, meaning no combat/kidnapping/ambushing etc can occur in there. 1.11.3 - If you are currently involved in any RP (such as being chased by the police, currently in the middle of combat etc) you may not enter the OOC area to attempt to end this RP. 1.12 - Vehicle Death Match (VDM) 1.12.1 - On the streets of the city are marked roads (lighter patches of ground). These are there for vehicles to pass through. 1.12.2 - Pedestrians who walk on the road and do not move for vehicles are able to be ran over without committing VDM. 1.12.3 - Drivers must make an obvious attempt to slow down and allow players the chance to get off the road when driving, anyone seen speeding up/ turning to hit someone/going onto the dark patches of ground (the path) will be warned for VDM. 1.12.4 - Running players over in the desert will always be seen as VDM. Once they have been kidnapped for 20 minutes you must either free or kill the person. 3.1.5 - As a kidnapper, you may interrogate a person for information. There is a 10 minute period from the start of interrogation where the victim may freely give up information in RP. If the person has been in interrogation for 10 minutes they must give up any information they know (unless agreed to continue by both parties). Also applies to Imperial prisoners. 3.1.6 - As a kidnapper you may only kidnap an imperial if there is at least 2 online from that branch. 3.2 - Mugging Rules 3.2.1 - To initiate a mugging, you must first put the person under FearRP. 3.2.2 - The maximum you can mug someone for is 5,000 Credits you may also strip their weapons and comms. 3.2.3 - You must wait 20 minutes before attempting to mug the same person again. 3.2.4 - You cannot mug Imperial Personnel while they are situated inside their base unless you have started a raid. 3.2.5 - You can only mug an imperial if there is at least two online from their branch. 3.3 - Countering Rules 3.3.1 - You need to have a valid RP reason to counter something. They will then accept the raid and spectate it in cloak to make sure rules are followed. DO NOT ENGAGE THE RAID UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED THAT THE RAID HAS BEEN ACCEPTED BY STAFF. 3.4.4 - To raid an Imperial property (Bases, Outposts etc.), you require a minimum of four participants in the raid. There are no minimum participants when raiding any neutral / criminal property. 3.4.5 - When raiding, part of your group must attempt to enter the property you are raiding. And must use a Keypad cracker on fading doors. This is to give defenders of their bases a fair chance. 3.4.10 - Raiding a player base you are not required to /raidapply. All participants must “/advert Ambush” before engaging in combat. 3.6.2 - You cannot solo ambush, you must be with at least one other participant. 3.6.3 - Ambushes may be used to attack Imperial workcamps, in an aim to free the prisoners. 3.6.4 - You must wait for a 15 minute cooldown between you participating in two separate ambushes. 3.6.5 - Everyone apart from Tuskens can ambush in the city. 3.7 - Drug Tent Rules 3.7.1 - Drug tents can be spawned in using the F4 menu - Entities 3.7.2 - It is considered metagaming to assume a tent is for drug making and raid it. 3.7.3 - Tents can only be considered as being used for drug making if: There is gas being emitted from the pipes on the outside of the tent or the owner of the tent opens the door and actual drugs are seen already made. (Simply seeing equipment in the tent does not imply drug creation) 3.7.4 - Criminals transporting created boxes of drugs are vulnerable to arrest/ambushing/mugging for their drugs. 3.7.5 - It's against the rules to fold your tent to remove all the content inside instantly. 3.7.6 - You cannot clip your gas pipe through walls/floors or outside of the map, it has to fit in RP. 3.8 - Other Crimes 3.8.1 - You can steal a vehicle without the need for any advert etc. Section 4: Job Classes Rules 4.1 - Civilian Rules 4.1.1 - Civilians are neutral roles, this means they may choose to participate in illegal activities (raiding, mugging etc.) or choose to support the Empire in some form (reporting crime etc.). 4.2 - Criminal Rules 4.2.1 - Criminal Leaders may not side with the Empire in any form, but if the organisations’ leaders (Fonollio/Hutt Clan/Rebel) are online, they may form an alliance. 4.2.2 - Criminal Organisation members (non-whitelist) must follow orders from the Criminal Leaders for their faction. 4.2.3 - Criminal Organisations may engage in "turf/gang" wars between themselves, but a valid RP reason must be established beforehand (such as one group is currently manufacturing drugs) This however does not give the groups the right to open RDM, and these gang wars cannot last for more than 20 minutes. 4.2.4 - Criminal groups must have a legitimate objective for raiding an imperial occupied building/area, such as but not limited to: stealing data, stealing weapons, kidnapping a high ranked individual. 4.3 - Tusken Raider Rules 4.3.1 - Tusken Raiders may not raid buildings within the city, doing so would be seen as FailRP, as would ambushing/kidnapping people within the city. 4.3.2 - Tusken Raiders can solo ambush people outside of the city, and may raid buildings located outside of the city with a reasonable RP reason to do so. 4.3.2 - Tusken Raiders cannot ally with other criminal factions 4.4 - Rebel Rules 4.4.1 - In addition to criminal rules surrounding raiding, Rebels may raid simply to strike a blow to the Imperial forces. 4.4.2 - Rebels may not kidnap, rob or raid civilians/locals and doing so will be seen as FailRP. 4.4.3 - Wearing the rebel uniform makes you AOS. 4.5 - Jedi Rules 4.5.1 - you must have Platinum VIP to be a Jedi. 4.5.2 - Jedi have the ability to change their saber length and hilt and also have access to a large range of force powers, however certain hilts are banned. If seen, staff will tell you to remove certain parts. Shoot holes have to be around the size of the player's head and shoulders. 5.3.5 - You are allowed to put up building signs meaning that your base cannot be raided while you are building. It is their event and they have the option to kick you out if they see fit. 7.1.3 - As an event character you still must follow the basic rules of the server. RDM still applies to event characters, if you are seen shooting your friendlies you will be warned. 7.1.3.1 - Combat cuffing is still a thing for ECs. Sometimes you may be given cuffs but you must still follow the kidnapping rules. 7.1.3.2 - Event characters can still be put under FearRP, the only exception for this is droids, for obvious reasons. 14. SCP Recontainment guide This guide is aimed at new players joining the server that have decided to play as a containment role, also for containment units that are unaware of these procedures. “Working” in cooperation with MTF Beta-7 “Maz Hatters” SCP Recontainment Procedures SCP-173 Description: Large figure, made out of concrete and rebar with traces of Krylon brand spray paint. It has a “face” and is extremely hostile towards any human. Recontainment procedure: Minimum of two containment personnel are to look at SCP-173 at all times, they will alert each other if they are close to blinking. The third containment unit will then box the SCP (Use containment cuffs on them) and drag them back to their containment chamber. Any personnel attempting to release the SCP is to be either cuffed or shot, depending on the situation. SCP-939 Description: A large canine shaped creature, with an overly sized head and “paws”. The creature is red in colour, as if the muscles were exposed. Copies the voices of its prey that it killed and uses it to lure out any other personnel. Recontainment procedure: Lure SCP-939-[xx] into its containment chamber using sounds and other means necessary, termination of the SCP is to only be used as a last resort option, such as the SCP making its way into light containment / entrance zone or the surface. Due to the limited number of SCP-939 instances allowed to be transferred to site, it is strongly advised to not terminate it unless it is a danger to site personnel. SCP-106 Description: An average height elderly humanoid in a state of advanced decomposition. It is extremely hostile once active, however it usually stays immobile for months at a time. Recontainment procedure: A recontainment unit of either MTF E-11 or MTF B-7 is to take a D class from the D class block to the containment chamber of SCP-106, the containment unit is to then enter the chamber and place the D class onto the femur breaker. The containment unit is to then leave the chamber, turn on the sound transmission and press the femur breaker button. The screams will sound through the site and lure SCP-106 back into it’s chamber, once the SCP is inside the chamber the containment unit will then press the electromagnets button on and the containment chamber will rise. If this fails then repeat. SCP-035 Description: A porcelain mask displaying either comedy or tragedy. It convinces personnel surrounding it to let it free and do tasks for them. Recontainment procedure: Shoot the host until it dies. Unless the SCP is in a cross test, in that case get a D class, handcuff it and make SCP-035 possess it. From there the SCP will be cuffed and will make it easier for containment units to lead the SCP to the cross test area. SCP-457 Description: Humanoid figure that can change its size depending on what items it consumes. The entity is scarred heavily from fire damage. Recontainment procedure: Use the size reducer tool you are given upon spawn and use it on the SCP until it is contained, alternatively, If this SCP breaches abandon LCZ, propblock the checkpoint leading out of that zone and say goodbye to all of your friends that are in that area. Resign from E-11 and find a job at a different place, preferably Walmart. From there continue your life as a normal civilian and try not to cry when you hear or see the numbers 4, 5 or 7. SCP-049 Description: A slightly above average humanoid figure dressed in an old plague doctor’s robe and mask, SCP-049 has the ability to infect site personnel with a single touch, stay away. Recontainment procedure: Ask the SCP from a distance if it is going to be compliant and not hostile towards foundation staff, if yes then attempt to negotiate with the SCP to make it return to its containment chamber. If the answer is a no then evacuate all personnel that can be infected by the SCP and lead it by a harpoon towards its containment chamber, a minimum distance of two metres is to be kept at all times with this SCP. If SCP-049 makes it outside of HCZ then ask for termination orders from foundation administration. Always ask for permission before terminating. SCP-096 Description: An abnormally large humanoid figure, SCP-096’s hands are twice the height of its torso and shows signs of mild malnutrition. It has little to none body mass. The entire entity is white in colour and has no signs of body hair. Recontainment procedure: Once SCP-096 has been located, a containment unit should make its way backwards to the SCP. The containment unit should locate its back and cuff the SCP from behind using containment cuffs. From there the containment unit will walk towards the containment chamber of SCP-096 and set it down inside of it. Additionally, another combat unit can keep watch of the surrounding area to make sure no site personnel attempts to release the SCP, any attempt at releasing the SCP is to be met with extreme force. SCP-682 Description: A very large lizard-like creature that can expand and reduce its size depending on the situation it is in, the SCP has a jaw that can kill any human with one bite. It is extremely hostile towards any life. Recontainment procedure: Gun. SCP-1048 Description: A small teddy bear that can walk, crouch and draw. It is extremely violent when it is not supervised and rips the ears of site personnel to create SCP-1048-A instance. Recontainment procedure: SCP-1048 is to be under constant supervision from a minimum of one containment personnel if it is allowed to roam the site, if the SCP has been caught stealing ears from site personnel it is to be contained using containment cuffs and then taken back to its containment chamber. Two containment personnel are needed for recontainment, one unit aims a weapon at SCP-1048 whilst the other unit uses their containment cuffs (The SCP is under fear RP like this, remind the person playing the job this). If an instance of SCP-1048-A is created it is to be terminated on sight, any orders to not fire at the SCP once it is in that stage are to be disregarded. 24. Hello peeps, some of you may know in the past I've suggested to make a player guide for new players so they can figure out how to play the server rather than them being absolutely clueless and it got denied, so I have volunteered and made this document for both new and old players to read about, it is mostly general knowledge for old players, but it's useful for the new ones. If you ever manage to find a player who doesn't know what to do, make sure to slap them with this. As always hope you enjoy! This doc will get updated every major update or when a GOI, rule etc. get added. Petition to also push this further into becoming an official guide and making it an auto message that pops up on the server.
